TikTok Upload Worker ("the Application") is an internal automation tool used to publish video content to TikTok on behalf of authorized creator accounts. This Privacy Policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and how it is protected.
When you authorize this Application via TikTok's OAuth 2.0 flow, we access the following information from your TikTok account:
user.info.basic — your TikTok display name and profile avatar. This is used solely to confirm the correct account is connected before publishing content, as required by TikTok's platform guidelines.
video.publish — the ability to publish video content directly to your TikTok account. This is used solely to upload and post videos as directed by you or your authorized representative.
Data accessed through TikTok's API is used exclusively to operate the posting functionality of this Application. Specifically:
Your username and avatar are displayed within the Application interface to confirm account identity before each post. Your access token is stored securely and used only to authenticate API requests to TikTok on your behalf.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any purpose beyond the core posting function described above.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your TikTok account data with any third parties. Data is not transferred to any external services beyond what is required to communicate with TikTok's official API endpoints.
Access tokens and account identifiers are stored securely and accessed only by the Application's automation system. We take reasonable technical measures to protect this data from unauthorized access. Access tokens are refreshed regularly and expire automatically per TikTok's token lifecycle policy.
We retain your access credentials only for as long as your account remains connected to the Application. You may revoke access at any time through your TikTok account settings under "Manage app permissions," at which point all stored tokens associated with your account are deleted.
You have the right to revoke this Application's access to your TikTok account at any time. You may also request deletion of any stored data associated with your account by contacting the Application operator directly.
This Application is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
